Event Highlight of the Month
Alright, Tap Truck enthusiasts, check out this awesome event we did last June. We were invited by the Bio-tech company to bring our vintage mobile bars to a huge concert event - and boy were we excited! We pulled out the big guns for this event, bringing three of our popular beer trucks, along with our buddies from Tap Truck SouthBay and Tap Truck Tucson. As the breeze rolled in on the beautiful San Diego Waterfront Park, music filled the atmosphere as Sublime with Rome took the stage. And what could be better than jammin' out to tunes and sippin' on local brews, hard Kombucha, and an Espresso Martini? The energy was electric, and we couldn't have been happier to provide the Tap Truck experience to such an amazing crowd! It was a truly unforgettable time, and we’re stoked to be able to share it with you!

New Licensee Shoutout
Tap Truck USA is thrilled to announce the addition of Tap Truck MPLS (Minneapolis), owned and operated by Heidi Samsel, to its growing family of licensees. Heidi's vintage 1950 Chevy Panel mobile bar truck, nicknamed "Minney," has been fully restored and is scheduled to hit the road in May 2023. Heidi, a former technology worker with over 30 years of experience, was laid off from her job in 2021 and cared for her mother who was diagnosed with colon cancer. After her life-changing experiences, Heidi was determined to pursue a career that would allow her to be creative and flexible, and Tap Truck USA was the perfect fit. Heidi learned about Tap Truck's mobile bars through her friend Nicole White, the owner of Tap Truck Midwest. After carefully considering the brand and reviewing its marketing materials, she concluded that it was an excellent opportunity to become a mobile bar boss and join the ever-expanding Tap Truck fleet.
Heidi's love for planning events and trying new drinks makes her a perfect addition to the Tap Truck family. Minney is a beautiful turquoise and white 1950 Chevy Sedan Delivery, complete with an automatic transmission, power brakes, and a 302 engine from a 1969 Z28 Camaro. With four taps, Minney is sure to be a hit at any event. Heidi's favorite drinks are vodka sugar-free Red Bull and IPAs, and she looks forward to serving them at all kinds of events in Minnesota. Tap Truck USA is excited to welcome Tap Truck MPLS to its family and wishes them all the best in their new venture.

Popular Licensee Social Media Content
So wake up the members of my nation, it’s your time to be! iCarly? More like iTapTruck! We’d like to give a huge shoutout to Tap Truck Los Angeles for pouring delicious brews for the iCarly crew out in Paramount Studios, landing them on the Popular Licensee Social Media Content of the Month spot! Served from their 1955 Chevy Panel Tap Truck, the Los Angeles team poured delicious and refreshing Non Alcoholic drinks such as a Spicy Watermelon Kombucha cocktail, homemade cold brew, Lemonade, and a sweet tea!
Their favorite part of serving the iCarly crew was “meeting the great people there and getting to check out the buildings that are being used for filming”! Tap Truck LA loved seeing the incredible woodworking that crews build for TV shows and movies. One interesting fact that LA shared was that Paramount Studios is like a small, family community where everyone rides bikes from location to location with a cheery smile on their face!
Keep up the great work LA, we all look forward to seeing the next cool event you guys are a part of!
Check out Tap Truck LA's Instagram Reel of this event!

Here at Tap Truck USA we always are answering questions regarding liquor licensing. As experts in the mobile bar industry for the past seven years, we have had our fair share of dealing with liquor licensing (and other forms of licensing/permits) and understand the complexities and nuances involved.
Where do I look to obtain liquor / any alcoholic beverage licensing?:
If you're wondering where to obtain the necessary licensing or permits for your Tap Truck business, the process should begin with your state's alcohol board. Sometimes referred to as the ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control), TLC (Tobacco Liquor Control), LB (Liquor Board), or ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms), this government body oversees the regulation of alcohol sales and distribution within your state. Whether you're looking to sell, transport, or serve alcoholic beverages, your state's board will provide you with specific requirements and guidelines for obtaining the necessary licenses and permits. It's crucial to follow these regulations closely to ensure that your Tap Truck business operates legally and responsibly.
What types of alcohol licenses are there?:
As an entrepreneur in the alcohol industry, navigating through the different types of licenses and permits required for your specific business operation can be overwhelming. When it comes to running a Tap Truck business, some of the pertinent licenses/permits worth researching include a liquor license, beer & wine license, day/event permits, catering permits, or portable bar permits. It is crucial to understand that the type of license/permit you require entirely depends on your unique business and the type of service you are providing. Therefore, it is essential to reach out to your state's agency and work with them to identify the licensing that fits your specific needs. Furthermore, if you need any help or guidance in this process, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We love to help our Tap Truck Family and will be more than happy to provide any guidance.
We hope these questions and answers were useful and help point you in the right direction. If you would like to read more on this topic, we encourage you to read our full blog for a more comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. We hope that our readers find this content useful and look forward to sharing more insights and knowledge in the future.
