Tap Truck Beach Cities - Based in Long Beach, California

Rachel & Chase Pittock  are the proud owners of Tap Truck Beach Cities, which serves Santa Monica, Long Beach and Los Angeles.

They found Tap Truck through Instagram, and knew they wanted to jump into the mobile bar business. When searching through ideas they stumbled across Tap Truck USA (@TapTruckUSA)! It was exactly what they were looking for! Something fun & unique! They are super excited to bring "Bette Mae” the 1956 Ford Panel Truck to the Beach Cities. Growing up,  there were always so many awesome events and activities going on. Rachel and Chase are looking forward to joining in on the fun and making those events that much better! Bette Mae is more than a beverage caterer, she really is a mobile bar experience!

In SoCal we are so fortunate to have so many amazing stadiums in our footprint from the Coliseum to the brand new Sofi Stadium. So serving at tailgates will be a breeze! In addition, they have some really unique event venues that we can’t wait to link up with including: Automobile Driving Museum, Moto Art, LightSpace Studios, Sony Studios, Smoky Hollow Studios, Big Door Studios, Common Space Brewery, South Bay Customs, Santa Monica Pier, Playa Studios, The Victorian, The Barker Hanger, and so many more!

LA is the city of stars! With three basketball teams (Sparks, Lakers & Clippers), one baseball team (Dodgers), three soccer teams (LA Galaxy, Los Angeles FC or LAFC, Angel City FC), two football teams (Rams & Chargers), not to mention the AVP comes through here- and these are just professional sports! There are a lot of great college teams in our area too- USC, LMU, LBUSD, CSUDH!

Beach cities look forward to serving: Santa Monica, Culver City, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes, Bixby Knolls, Belmont Shores, Torrance, West LA, El Segundo, Venice.

There is a whole list of breweries in this area too which includes :Common Space, Smog City, King Harbor, Monkish, Absolution, Three Weavers, El Segundo Brew Co, The Dudes, Strand Brewing, LA Ale Works, Phantom Carriage, Redondo Beach Brew Co, Tortugo, Upshift, Surfridge, Belmont Brewing, Liberation, Santa Monica Brew Works

There aren’t many wineries in the city but Barsha wines & spirits and Friends of the vine are some favorites. Both wine shops have great selections of wine and very knowledgeable owners!

The 1956 Ford Panel Truck- named Bette Mae after their grandmothers! Next they would love something fun and beachy- maybe a VW Bus or a Woodie!

Rachel and Chase celebrated a new baby girl this past summer, and are excited to make this Tap Truck business a family affair! They look forward to adding to the fleet and plan on becoming the premier mobile bar business in the Beach Cities area! This area of Los Angeles holds a special place in their hearts as this is where Rachel grew up, where they were married, where they bought their first house and where they welcomed their baby girl, Gianna, to the world. This community has brought so much love and laughter to their lives and they look forward to giving back to the community they love!

Rachel and Chase are super excited to work with all the unique and fun venues we have here in LA. Being able to make someone’s special event that much more special with our truck is a dream come true! In addition we are big sports fans and hope to do lots of USC Tailgates! Fight On!

Chase & Rachel met through a mutual friend while Rachel was away in college (UCSB)- they instantly made a connection and stayed in touch until Rachel moved back home to LA. That’s when they started dating (way back in 2008) and that’s when their first plans to own a bar began to brew! After many jobs and many years of always dreaming and wishing they decided 2020, in the middle of a pandemic & with a 2 month old baby, was the perfect time to start on this new adventure! When they saw Tap Truck they knew they found the one! After all, they were married at a classic car museum!
