Tap Truck Charleston - Branch of the Month (July 2020)

When you think Charleston, South Carolina; one might think of horse carriages trotting down cobblestone streets while passing elegant french style homes. Well now you can think of horse carriages along with a Tap Truck cruising down these same streets! Get ready Charleston, Tap Truck is here and is ready for your next event! Tap Truck Charleston is owned and operated by Zach Myers and he is your main guy! Driving a 1962 Dodge Panel named “Minty” after her beautiful two toned mint green body paint and beige hat. This Tap Truck is equipped with five taps that are ready to quench your thirst. After this year, Zach plans to add a flawlessly restored Chevy 3100 as a second truck to start his fleet.

Zach had always dreamed about starting his own taproom when he thought about how much more he liked the idea of turning this taproom dream into a mobile bar reality! Zach is originally from central Pennsylvania and made the decision to relocate to Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Before he relocated, Zach had been a long time hockey player and his job opportunities in the sport industry is what eventually brought him to South Carolina. When not spending time working on his craft within the sport industry, he can be found cruising the streets in his Tap Truck and bartending with his wife Allie.

Zach is very excited to make Tap Truck Charleston the top bartending service within the local industry. He knows hospitality is critical to Charleston and Zach will always bring that southern charm behind the bar to all of his events. He is filling out the rest of his year and beyond with festival events along with countless weddings. Zach can be found pouring beers at some of the most iconic venues and scenic locations in Charleston - Folly Beach, Kiawah Beach Resort, The Boone Hall Plantation, and the Historic City Market.

At these events Zach loves to pour local craft beers from Palmetto Brewing Co. (specifically for their Idle Speed - a deliciously crisp salted lime lager), Westbrook Brewing, Rusty Bull Brewing, Frothy Beard Brewing Co., and Two Blokes Brewing. For the cider fans, Zach enjoys pouring from Ships Wheel Hard Cider house. For wines Zach will represent Charleston Winery and Deep Water Vineyard. Zak will use all local craft to that of South Carolina to help represent and support the local community.

Whether you’re having a Wedding, Car Meet Up, Sporting Event, an HOA event, or any community gathering - Zach and Tap Truck Charleston are here for you!
