When you think of classic cars, craft beer, and the California dream, Tap Truck Los Angeles checks every box. This month, we're thrilled to shine the spotlight on an unstoppable duo that's serving up good times all across the City of Los Angeles. Meet Miranda Gasca and Enrique Leveron, the passionate and hard-working team behind Tap Truck Los Angeles. With their love for vintage trucks, craft beverages, and making people smile, these two have turned their dream into a thriving business that just keeps gaining momentum!
From homebrewing to Hollywood sets, Tap Truck Los Angeles is building a legacy one pour at a time. Owners Miranda Gasca and Enrique Leveron first discovered Tap Truck while chasing their dream of building a custom trailer with taps and TVs for parties and sporting events. “We first started homebrewing and decided to build out a trailer with taps and TV’s on it to rent out for parties and sports games. While searching for someone to build us one we came across some pictures online from Tap Trucks,” they shared. “We fell in love with the concept and once we dug deeper about the brand we decided we should submit our form to be a part of the brand.
Their first Tap Truck is a 1955 Chevy Panel named Monroe, which was originally built out by Tap Truck’s own Corbin. Their second truck, a stunning 1959 Chevy Apache Panel in Tiffany blue (appropriately named Tiffany), has a story of her own. “Our second truck was found by a friend who found it abandoned in an old man's backyard.”
Since launching in May 2022, the Tap Truck LA branch has evolved beyond a mobile beer truck. “Our branch has evolved from just a beer truck concept to a trusted name for our clients where they know they will receive the best craft beer and beverages in town,” they explained. With plans to expand into the San Gabriel Valley and potentially invest in more trucks, their momentum is only growing.
Like many Tap Truck owners, they’ve faced their share of hurdles. “Some challenges that we have faced are navigating event permits, adapting to various venue setups and dealing with our local health department as well as dealing with consumers that don't know what they want.” But they’ve met each challenge with resolve. “We have overcome these hurdles by building strong relationships with local agencies and businesses, developing flexible bar setups that work in diverse environments, and implementing thorough customer service and patience.”
Their service area now stretches across Los Angeles and its gateway cities, and recently expanded to include San Gabriel Valley. What truly fuels their fire is the support from the larger Tap Truck community. “Our favorite part of the Tap Truck family is our shared purpose and support. We had a lot of help from our surrounding Tap Truck families that have helped our growth and being able to collaborate with them has been amazing and meaningful.”
Of course, the trucks themselves bring the magic. “We were most excited about driving around in these beautiful vintage trucks with taps on the side of them,” they said. “Seeing people’s reactions pulling up to events and hearing how they loved the concept made it all worth it for us.”
Working in a city as dynamic as LA brings unique opportunities. “One of the most exciting requests we got was to be able to have our 1959 Chevy Tiffany truck be a prop for a TV show The Rookie—twice,” they shared. “Another one was being able to serve Reba and meeting John Legend for the show The Voice.”

Outside the spotlight, their passion for beer remains front and center. “Our favorite brewery is Cerveceria Del Pueblo in Pasadena,” said Enrique, who is also a brewer at the local brewery. “Being a brewer for this small brewery has allowed me to showcase the beers I make and seeing people love our selection is the most rewarding thing for us.” Their most requested beer? “Dorada, our Mexican lager. This one is always a hit for a light beer option, as well as our seltzers.”
When it comes to events, it’s the energy of the crowd that drives them. “We get most excited for our corporate events, especially for Guess Inc. We love curating our customized menus and specialty cocktails for them for a high energy and fun crowd,” they said. “Overall, all our events allow us to create a professional and exciting atmosphere that makes a lasting impression.”
The team also finds ways to stay involved locally. “We engage with our local communities by actively participating in local events, collaborating with nearby breweries and supporting neighborhood activities and fundraisers.”
While they don’t have a favorite venue just yet, they’ve got their eyes set on big dreams. “We don't have any specific venues but we would definitely love to work with the Dodgers or the Lakers.”
Their advice to future Tap Truck owners is as real as it gets: “Always have an open mind and be patient. You need to have a passion and good work ethic because this may look easy but it is not. But once you get through the first few events and learn your jockey box system you will definitely love doing this.” And the most important tip of all? “Oh, and ALWAYS CLEAN AND SANITIZE YOUR LINES after every event! I can't stress that enough.”
“Our story starts with wanting to be business owners and the love of making great beer to share with family and friends,” they wrote. Miranda shared, “Owning my own business allows me to turn my passion into a career, the ability to be my own boss, and be able to provide employment, allowing others to have the opportunity to make money and put food on the tables for their families.”
For Enrique, brewing beer turned out to be more than just a hobby—it became a calling. “Learning how to make beer and eventually leading up to being a brewer at a brewery has really been a passion for me,” he said. “Growing up, I never found any job fulfilling and never felt satisfied. Being able to work at a brewery, learning everything about beer has been one of my most exciting journeys.”
Their Tap Truck adventure has been filled with meaningful memories. “We have met John Legend, served Reba McEntire some Blanton’s, filmed on set of The Rookie, become Rams Certified, and even tapped hot chocolate on Skid Row to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving mornings.”
Looking back, Miranda and Enrique are proud of the business they’ve built and grateful for the journey. “There’s a deep sense of pride in building our business and relationships from the ground up and watching our vision come to life. Every event, every happy customer, and every challenge overcome is a direct result of our hard work and passion.”
“As we look ahead, we are excited for many more adventures and memories to be cherished forever,” they said. “We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next!”
Congratulations to Miranda and Enrique of Tap Truck Los Angeles, our Branch of the Month for July 2025! Your energy, creativity, and heart for hospitality truly embody what Tap Truck is all about. Cheers to many more milestones ahead!
