At a golf tournament, a few things are guaranteed: long drives, missed putts, and a lot of thirsty players. This week Tap Truck geared up for a fantastic 18 holes at Fairbanks Ranch Golf Course to quench the thirst of the players and help support Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. With Tap Truck cruising across the green, the mission was simple—find the golfers, fuel the fun, and turn a good game into a great time. Only one problem… Tap Truck San Diego’s owner, Corbin O’Reilly, was running late to the function.
With the San Diego Tap Daddy running late, Corbin sent in his most loyal solider, Dante, to man the Tap Truck and serve the hundreds of golfers participating in the tournament. With Dante at the forefront this time, setup and operation was all smooth sailing with only a little help from Commander Corbin over the phone to iron out the details. On tap for today was a sweet watermelon seltzer from Serpentine Cider, alongside a June Gloom hazy IPA from Gravity Heights Brewing, and a special spicy margarita from Fiero Tequila with an optional tajin rim for the more spicy-inclined folks out there. Dante had the 1953 F100 green chevy prim and proper in no time to help out the thirsty golfers taking a quick break from their stick-swinging, and both ended up putting on a show. It didn’t take long for his natural charm to kick in and in little to no time the truck was swarming with the players asking for a drink. Sometimes all it takes for a great experience is a good conversation and a cold beverage, both things Tap Truck loves to provide in excess for its community!
By the time Corbin finally rolled in, the party was already in full swing - Dante had stolen the spotlight, and the good times were flowing. At Tap Truck, it’s what we do best: turn a solid event into an unforgettable one. It was an honor to take a trip to Fairbanks in order to help the fundraiser efforts for the Big Hero Charity Golf Foundation. The turnout was incredible, with supporters all across the green—and Tap Truck was right there in the mix, serving cold drinks, good vibes, and helping fuel the spirit of connection that makes events like this truly special.
