June’s spotlight event is one for the books. Tap Truck Vancouver made their grand debut at the 17th Annual Classic Car Show Fundraiser, and they did it in unforgettable style. From a standing ovation to raising thousands for charity, this team brought the full Tap Truck experience to life in the Pacific Northwest.
Hosted to benefit Alzheimer’s of Oregon/Washington and Parkinson’s Disease, the event drew a record-breaking crowd with over 110 cars on display. Enthusiasts from across the region rolled in to support a great cause, admire vintage rides, and of course, enjoy a cold one served straight from the taps of Vancouver’s newest showstopper.

Meet the Tiki Tap Truck:
The centerpiece of Tap Truck Vancouver’s appearance was none other than the Tiki Tap Truck, a fully restored 1953 Chevy Panel Van featuring four taps, wood siding, and serious mechanical power with a 350 short block engine and turbo 350 – 3 speed transmission. It's a blend of vintage craftsmanship and modern-day performance that captures attention wherever it goes.
But what truly makes the Tiki Tap Truck one-of-a-kind is its artwork. The truck’s driver-side logo was designed by none other than renowned Pacific Northwest Tiki artist David Gambale, also known as World B. Omes, the creative force behind the Beastie Boys’ “License to Ill” album cover. The truck’s vibrant aesthetic pays homage to tiki culture while standing out as a true work of art in the Tap Truck fleet.
Beer That Gives Back:
At the event, Tap Truck Vancouver was the only beverage truck on site, and they came prepared to quench the crowd’s thirst with a well-curated tap list:
Their booth became an instant favorite, serving beer nonstop while helping raise over $3,000 at their station alone for a cause that hits close to home for many attendees. It was a powerful reminder of the impact Tap Truck licensees can make when they show up with great service, positive energy, and a commitment to community.

A Debut to Remember:
While this was their first-ever guest-facing event, Tap Truck Vancouver handled it like seasoned pros. From managing long lines and troubleshooting keg changes on the fly to delivering warm smiles and cold pours, their team rose to the occasion.
“My favorite part of the event was tackling those first-day challenges head-on,” they shared. “We kept the lines moving, kept the guests happy, and most importantly—kept the beer flowing!”
And the welcome they received? Nothing short of electric.
“As we pulled into the venue, we got a standing ovation down the street. That moment was unreal—we felt like rockstars. Even though we weren’t entered into the car show, we still got a few votes for ‘Best in Show!’”
Why They’re Our Event of the Month:
