Our Tap Truck North Carolina branch is based in the heart of the Tar Heel State, Raleigh, North Carolina. Being centrally located, two amazing entrepreneur couples - Chris and Jim Morris along with Tim and Tonya Baskerville, are burning up the back roads and interstates serving up tasty libations in their two classic TapTrucks. Mountains to coast - they’ve got you covered!
Pouring beers for the fine people of North Carolina wasn’t the first business these owners em- barked upon. With a huge appreciation for North Carolina’s craft beer scene, the gang enjoyed traveling together in search of new breweries. They knew that sampling a craft beer was best in a brewery where you not only get the flavor of the beer, but also the atmosphere and back story of the establishment. This love and passion led to the start of Raleigh Brews Cruise, an educationally-based craft beer brewery tour company that made its debut in October 2014. Raleigh Brews Cruise quickly established itself as the most popular craft brewery tour business in the area!
While operating the brewery tour business, the crew frequently heard the same question, “Can you bring the beer to us?” Light Bulb! TapTruckNC was the simple answer! The perfect way to mesh their knowledge and passion for NC craft beer, exceptional service, and the love of traveling the Tar Heel State - in gorgeous, vintage beer trucks that pour perfectly chilled beverages. The experience gained from Raleigh Brews Cruise and the true passion TapTruckNC has for quality craft beer is what brings the whole experience together. Great tasting beer is a must, and the gang's beer knowledge provides their TapTruck clients a roadmap through the various beer styles and more!
Ramona, is their 1946 Chevy panel truck with a champagne colored body and bourbon brown fenders. Ramona was living an ordinary 70 year old truck life in a small Southern California town when the TapTruckUSA team breathed new life into her. After relocating to the City of Oaks, she is now the attraction for birthdays, weddings and other corporate events.
Mo, is their 1954 matte black Ford panel truck. Equipped with chrome rims and a front grill that makes a major statement, she ain’t foolin’ around! Mo was quietly spending her days in a showroom in Missouri until the NC crew found her and brought her south. She’s happy to be a working truck again.
While these gorgeous trucks are often pouring frosty pints in the Triangle region of North Carolina, their outreach is vast - spanning NC from the coast to the mountains, as well as the coastal, central and northern areas of Virginia. Weddings, anniversaries, corporate outings, brewery and street festivals, concerts, alumni events. Anywhere people need kegged beverages, TapTruckNC is ready to roll.
The TapTruckNC team is truly excited about each event and client, with customer service and attention to detail the top priority. TapTruckUSA is so proud of the TapTruckNC group's hard work and tremendous growth, and is lucky to have them on the team. Please be sure to check out their website and follow Chris, Jim, Tim and Tonya’s journey within the TapTruck family.
