At Tap Truck USA, we’re lucky to work alongside some of the most incredible women: mothers who wear all the hats - business owner, full-time employee, caregiver, problem solver, leader, and source of constant support. This Mother’s Day, we’re raising a glass to one of those women: the powerhouse behind Tap Truck El Dorado, DeAnna Heywood.
DeAnna Heywood is a proud mom of three—24-year-old identical twin daughters and a 19-year-old son. She began her Tap Truck journey in 2023, adding another meaningful chapter to a life already driven by purpose and dedication. Tap Truck El Dorado is just one of the many ways she pours her passion into everything she does.
When she’s not pouring pints at events or connecting with clients, she’s working full time as a Nutrition Lead at Union Mine High School. She and her family also raise cattle, chickens, and pigs, so yes, you could say her plate is more than full. And yet, she shows up for it all with passion, patience, and an inspiring sense of balance.
So, how does she juggle it all?
“I take each day at a time. We’ve got a weekly routine and pretty much stick to it. It helps a lot that my kids are grown—even though two still live at home, they’re super involved and help a ton.”
Motherhood, she says, has been the best training ground for entrepreneurship.“You have to be very patient and ready to adjust when needed. Things change all the time!”
A typical day starts bright and early at 5:45 AM with feeding the animals. She’s at work by 6:30 AM, where she manages school nutrition and checks in on Tap Truck El Dorado emails during breaks. After work, there are groceries to grab, more chores to handle, and then it’s time for the one thing that never gets skipped: dinner. "Dinner is sacred in our house. We sit at the table every night and talk about our day. It keeps us close.”
That kind of consistency is rare, but it’s also exactly what makes her story so special. Amid work, business, and everything else, she prioritizes what matters most: connection.
And Tap Truck El Dorado? It’s a family affair. Her daughters help run events and manage social media, and her son supports the team by loading up the truck and contributing behind the scenes. “All my kids are involved, and that makes it even more meaningful. It’s something we do together.”
Stories like hers are what remind us why we love this community so much. Tap Truck USA was built to bring people together, and what better example of that than a mom who has built her business with the support and love of her family?
To all the moms who are pouring their energy into building something special, while also being the glue that holds everything together, we see you. We admire your strength, your hustle, and your heart.
This Mother’s Day, we celebrate you!
From all of us at Tap Truck USA, Happy Mother’s Day!
