MarineMax has been a longtime friend and client of Tap Truck Fort Myers, so when they invited them to be part of this milestone celebration, they knew it was going to be something big. What they didn't expect was just how big! The original guest list was set for about 250 people, but as the date approached, RSVPs started pouring in. By the night of the event, more than 450 guests filled the space, doubling expectations and making it one of the largest MarineMax events they've been part of.
The celebration was elevated even further by their collaboration with Lamborghini of Naples. Between the luxury yachts, sleek cars, and the buzz of so many excited guests, the energy was unmatched. And right in the middle of it all, Tap Truck Fort Myers vintage 1956 Panel Truck, affectionately known as Donnie B, was ready to serve.
They came prepared with five signature cocktails on tap, alongside bottled beer, making sure the crowd had something refreshing in hand at all times. And let’s just say, they didn’t let Donnie B down. By the end of the evening, the taps had been thoroughly enjoyed.
But the real story of the night wasn’t the cars or the cocktails. It was a moment of quick thinking and compassion from Tap Truck Fort Myers' very own Deb. In the middle of the event, a guest began choking on hors d’oeuvres. Without hesitation, Deb jumped in to help, ensuring the woman was okay. The guest was embarrassed, but safe, and it instantly became one of those unforgettable “you had to be there” highlights that people will be talking about long after the party.
Looking back, it was more than just a grand re-opening; it was a reminder of why Tap Truck Fort Myers loves what they do. "We don’t just show up with a truck and taps; we get to be part of moments that bring people together, create memories, and sometimes even help out in ways no one expects".
MarineMax has become one of their strongest partners, and they're grateful for the relationship that’s grown over the past year and a half. They've already been part of five of their events, and the next one is already on the books for February 2026. That event will be especially meaningful, as it’s a fundraiser benefiting the local children’s hospital, and they're thrilled to support such an important cause while doing what we do best.
