Some events just have that perfect mix of great people, good energy, and a setting that makes everything feel easy, in the best way. Our April Event of the Month with Tap Truck Fort Myers was exactly that.
They were invited to be part of an exclusive, invitation-only showcase hosted with MarineMax, featuring some of their incredible powerboats from Intrepid Powerboats. The whole idea of the event was to highlight the Intrepid brand and its high-performance boats, and it was the kind of setting that felt elevated but still relaxed and welcoming.
A Beer Lineup Made for a Good Night:
For this event, they kept the drink selection fun, approachable, and perfect for a laid-back backyard barbecue vibe.
They served three different beers on tap:
- High Five IPA from Fort Myers Brewing Company
- You’re My Boy Blue blueberry wheat ale from Florida Avenue Brewing Co.
- Michelob Ultra
Alongside that, they also offered a spiked lemonade that Tap Truck Fort Myers mixed up themselves, plus canned vodka seltzers for guests who wanted something light and refreshing.
By the end of the night, they were completely tapped out, empty kegs all around, which is always a great sign. "There’s something really satisfying about seeing every pour enjoyed from start to finish."
A Backyard BBQ Feel, On the Water:
Even though the event was centered around high-end boats and luxury brands, the atmosphere was intentionally relaxed. The theme leaned into a backyard barbecue feel, and there was even a BBQ food truck on-site, which made the whole setup feel easygoing and fun.
Guests could walk through the boat displays, hang out by the water, grab food, and stop by the Tap Truck for a drink, all without anything feeling too formal or structured. It was the kind of event where people could just enjoy themselves at their own pace.
The Best Part: The People
As always, for Tap Truck Fort Myers, the highlight wasn’t just the setup or the drinks, it was the people.
So many guests at this event had been to previous MarineMax gatherings where we’ve poured, which made it feel like a reunion in a lot of ways. Getting to see familiar faces, catch up, and then also meet new people throughout the night is one of the best parts of what we do.
That mix of old friends and new connections is what keeps these events feeling special every time.
