This month, Tap Truck Midwest brought their 1953 GMC Panel Van to a corporate celebration for Optum’s Real Estate Division, serving up an impressive beverage experience for guests.
For this event, the team went all out with their most expansive drink menu yet. Guests could choose from Coors Light, WarPigs Foggy Geezer Hazy IPA, Angry Orchard Hard Cider, wine, and a variety of spirits and mixers. The standout of the event was the Watermelon Cucumber Cooler, available as both a mocktail and cocktail and served with a fresh watermelon garnish. It was a hit with guests!
As a relatively new Tap Truck team, this event was also an exciting opportunity to put their growing skills to the test. With such a large and diverse beverage menu, the team added an extra bartender, bringing the crew to four. Two bartenders focused on preparing cocktails while the other two took orders and poured from the taps. While there were a few quieter moments, the team agreed that being prepared and fully staffed was much better than falling behind during a busy rush.
And the best part of the event? The people. The Tap Truck Midwest team shared that the Optum group was incredibly friendly, fun, and enjoyable to work with. The only challenge came when guests were dismissed to the courtyard a little earlier than expected, meaning the team had to be ready to serve ahead of schedule, but they were prepared to jump into action.
From an expansive beverage menu to a creative signature drink and a well-coordinated bar team, this event was a great example of how Tap Truck Midwest continues to grow and elevate their event experience.
Cheers to Tap Truck Midwest on a successful August event! 🥂🍉
