Top Brews of Alabama

We wanted to give our Tap Truck nod to a few of the top breweries in the great state of Alabama. As Tap Trucks has expanded to different areas, we enjoy searching for the local crafts created by true artists of flavor. We hope you get to try them all! 

Fairhope Brewing Company - Fairhope, AL

A nice well put tougher place with solid brews for all to check out. Judge Roy Bean is a coffee imperial stout that teams up with the Fairhope Coffee Roasting Company. 

Big Beach Brewing - Gulf Shores, AL

An awesome family-built taproom filled with a fun-loving staff. Big Beach prides themselves on simplicity and smoothness found in all their beers. Gameday is a relatively new release that is a 4.1 ABV American Lager. 

Good People Brewing Company - Birmingham, AL

These Good People celebrated 10 years of business in 2018! Snake Handler is a popular Double IPA that can go well with their home style BBQ found at the taproom menu. 

Haint Blue Brewing - Mobile, AL

They call their taproom the Ice House. A really popular pale ale that the Haint Blue is known for is Cain and Kalooza which is at 6.2%. The Building is set in an awesome old warehouse where they brew at.  

Serda Brewing - Mobile, AL

Serda has spot on branding, with a nice spacious interior to enjoy with friends. Roggebier is a Rye beer at 5.5 percent it is one of the more popular beers by shop. 

Iron Hand Brewing - Mobile, AL

Not only is Iron Hand a great place for a pint but it has a nice menu to sit down for a simple bite to eat. The created a Pumpkin Barleywine at 8.8 % ABV.

Straight To Ale - Huntsville, AL

This brewery also distills as well. The atmosphere is very comfortable with spacious seating in doors and plenty of private rooms to host events. Chill Pils is a very popular pilsner with 

Avondale Brewing Company - Birmingham, AL

Avondale is known for having an awesome stage for bands and entailment to perform. Spring Street Saison has a nice four malt blend and is at 7.2% ABV. 

Cahaba Brewing Company - Birmingham, AL

Cahaba creates a huge space for the whole town to gather! The brewery is very open with plenty to see and explore. The Brewery distributes around the state. Check out their Kiwi Kolsch at 5.3% ABV for a refreshing experience.  

Rocket Republic Brewing - Madison, AL

Rocket has won 5 gold medal awards on five of their beers. Impressive! The brewery has grown to feature two locations for folks to visit! Mach One is an American IPA at 6.9 % ABV. 

Yellowhammer Brewing - Huntsville, AL

Yellowhammer began brewing in 2010 when it opened to the public. They offer 6packs throughout the year with a wide variety of cans and styles. Their Rebellion Red is a flagship beer inspired by German and American blends. The lager is at 5.4 % ABV with German and domestic hops. 

We wanted to toss a note to a few awesome brews just across the Gulf of Mexico border in Florida just down the street from Mobile, Alabama. 

Penescola Bay Brewery - Penescola, FL

Is a prideful team that creates quality. The brewery is served from the Emerald Coast to Alabama. The brewery has won awards. DeSoto is a berliner weisse ale down with raspberries and found at 3.4% ABV. 

Gulf Coast Brewery - Penescola, FL

This is a simple brewery with an easy going interior. They have a Blood Orange Sunset Ale at 5% ABV with only 14 IBU so ultra-smooth and less bitter. Gulf Coast Brewery also hosts a cigar shop as well!
